This weekend we took my daughter to a festival. It was pure mayhem all around us and she was so happy! On second thought, it makes sense. When we have a quiet morning at home she is all over the place. She seeks chaos, and creates it when it is not already there. When we are in a quiet restaurant (trust me, we learned this lesson and no longer ARE in a quiet restaurant) she squawks. She tosses cheerios. She is actually a very sweet kid, but I think that she is at an age where kids like to learn that they can impact the world. Cause-and-effect is in full force. Empty tube or box on the ground? Why not hollar in and create and echo.

Note to self: find places with unending visual and auditory entertainment if you want your baby to rest her head calmly on your lap and watch.
